Blue men of the Sahara
The Tamashek (Tuareg) men at Essouk, Mali. They'll called the blue men because excess pigment from their richly brilliant indigo turbans rubs off onto their skin.
Otherwise I still don't know what to say about west Africa. I may speak only in pictures for a while, or nothing at all.
